Experienced Vacuum Sealer Switches to OutOfAir
Stephen Alexander
I’m 81 years old now but I started vacuum sealing food 15 years ago with FoodSaver machines. Got tired of 3 of them breaking down, failing to seal and the like. Their customer service also sucks. To correct this annoyance and waste of money… I purchased a Cabela's 12" commercial grade machine and have been using it since 2020. Love it.
That issue led me to find OutOfAir online because it’s a fact that FoodSaver bags see more... are garbage, overpriced to value, and recently it is obvious they are producing a bag with a thinner plastic. Their bags also leak.
I seal items way beyond food for freezing or even short term refrigeration - as much as 30 food items a month. I also seal certain equipment used for hunting, fishing, tools, and - this is big - emergency evacuation and mass casualty medical go-bag supplies.
So I ordered a sample of 6", 8" and 11" bag rolls from your company (OutOfAir), all based on your better thickness and quality pledge and claims.
Product arrived on time. Ripped open the failed FoodSaver bags used to vacuum seal expensive coffee - Jamaica Blue.
Immediately, using the OutOfAir product, I vacuumed 20 bags of the same whole bean coffee, each with ½ pound. Next, vacuum sealed 30 steaks - perfect.
I could immediately feel the thickness difference between FoodSaver and OutOfAir bags and I’m very satisfied with it.
