If you've noticed that your food vacuum sealer isn't working as well as it used to, it's most likely due to worn-out gaskets. Over time, the foam gaskets in vacuum sealers can become compressed and damaged, making it difficult for the sealer to create a strong vacuum. Fortunately, OutOfAir's replacement gaskets are made from high-quality foam and are designed to fit all FoodSaver models as well as other popular brands.

Description

  • RESOLVES VACUUMING ISSUES: Replace your gaskets if your FoodSaver has trouble holding the suction when sealing. FoodSaver suggests replacing them once a year.
  • REPAIRS SEALING TROUBLES: If your FoodSaver is having trouble closing your bags, the tape shielding the heating element has to be replaced.
  • BUILT TO LAST: Our gaskets are made of engineered foam composition to provide the greatest degree of quality.

Provide an easy and affordable replacement

These gaskets are compatible with V2200, V2400, V2800, V3000 and V3200 FoodSaver model series. They also work in GameSaver Deluxe Plus.

Ensures airtight seal

Gaskets are made of foam and fit the vacuum chamber, ensuring an airtight seal so your food won't be exposed to any outside elements. Unfortunately, other replacement gaskets tend to be out of place and don't fit in FoodSaver models. OutOfAir replacement gaskets fit right through and will guarantee you an airtight seal!

How often should I replace the gaskets of my FoodSaver vacuum sealing system?

While a gasket's lifespan heavily depends on its brand and usage, replacing it annually is recommended. Also, check your gaskets from time to time for any wear and tear signs that include uneven or non-sealing, leaks after sealing, tears or loose on gaskets, and compressed gaskets.

How to replace gaskets?

For more details, see here: Fix Your Vacuum Sealer with OutOfAir's T910-00075 Replacement Gasket
To replace your gaskets:
1. Remove your old gaskets. Check that your foam gaskets can be removed from your sealer. Some are glued in place and not meant to be removed (you can still do so, but you must be careful not to leave any residue after removal).
2. Insert your lower gasket. We recommend inserting the two ends first, then the middle, and then just working it in. Make sure it goes nice and smooth. Don’t stretch the gaskets, and don’t press on them too hard.
3. Do the same procedure with your upper gasket.

Why should I buy these OutOfAir gasket replacements?

OutOfAir replacement gaskets are cost-efficient and fit perfectly with your FoodSaver vacuum sealers. They're also simple to install, making them a worthwhile investment.

How do I install my replacement tape?

1) Remove the tape on your current heating element (make sure to get the residue from the old tape off).
2) Cut your new OutOfAir replacement tape to the correct size.
3) Remove the yellow backing from the tape and place it over the heating element (under the element if using it for an impulse sealer). Smooth out the tape with your finger to ensure a good bond.

Will OutOfAir replacement tape work with my machine?

Yes, it will. OutOfAir replacement tape works with all popular vacuum and impulse sealers with a heating element for sealing bags.
-For vacuum sealers, place the tape directly over the heating element (after removing the current tape).
-For impulse sealers, place the tape directly under the heating element (after removing the current tape).

What are vacuum sealer models compatible with this gasket?

Our FoodSaver gasket replacements are compatible with the V2200, V2400, V2800, V3000 (lower gasket only), and V3200 (lower gasket only) series of FoodSaver models. It also works with GameSaver Deluxe Plus and other popular brands. For those models with 2 gaskets, replace both simultaneously for best results.

Can you replace the sealing strip on a food vacuum sealing machine?

Yes, you can. Depending on how often you seal, it's recommended that you change the tape strip every 6 months to a year. Your vacuum sealer's performance may be affected if your sealing strip becomes damaged, resulting in some air leaks in the bag.
If the issue is limited to heating elements, purchasing sealing strips alone will be the most cost-effective option and will save you money in the long run.

How do you remove the old heat tape strips?

Use a razor blade to get the edge of the tape up, then you should be able to remove the rest of the tape. You don't want to use the blade to cut, though, because that could harm the heating element. Instead, use something like Goo Gone to get the adhesive off the machine. Once everything is cleaned up, you may put the new tape in place.
