Purchased these a month or so ago, after getting frustrated with other so called "heavy duty" and "professional grade" vacuum sealer bags failing during or after sealing. So far no failures that were the fault of the bag with these! I had a couple of them fail early on because I left a sharp bone sticking out (my fault). The fish we process are usually 10 pounds and larger, so they have some pretty wicked bones! I'm going to say these are the best bags I've tried so far. Good thickness, yet easy to work with. We processed probably 60 pounds of large fish fillets toward the end of last season, and those lateral bones had always poked through the other bags (Cabela's bags are the worst!). These held up nicely as long as some care was taken to trim the largest bones. For the really tough bones, we just trimmed the excess material from a sealed bag and placed a small "patch" over the bone line. The Food Saver and Cabela's bags failed frequently, even with these patches in place. Also? I absolutely LOVE the full length write on strip. Fishing season for us starts October 1st so I'm sure I'll be looking to buy more of these. :)

Nice and THICK!!! A white space to write on is really nice too, lots of others don't have that and I find that annoying. We package a lot of stuff, more than most people probably (3+ deer, 6+ lambs at least a year among other veggies and such), very happy have found this product!! Works great with our old plain jane foodsaver machine. They also had the replacement gaskets for our machine so that was awesome!

I was skeptical of these bags because I've only used Food Saver bags up to now. There are a ton of brands available out there, and most of them seem sketchy. After doing some research, I decided to give OutOfAir bags a try. I measured the Food Saver bags with a micrometer and found they were 0.014 inches thick. The OutOfAir bags were also 0.014 inches thick, but felt a little sturdier. The OutOfAir bags definitely seal better than the Food Saver brand. The seal was wider, and more consistent. My son even noticed the seals looked better. To top it off, they are a lot cheaper. I'll definitely buy these again.
