We ordered these bags to freeze meals for my husband’s parents. They are perfect for freezing single or 2-person size meals. And they are of great quality — heavy-duty plastic meant to withstand freezer cold. We use them with the Foodsaver sealer machines and they work brilliantly with this. We also use the bags to divide large meat purchases from Costco or when on sale into quantities for our family. The zipper allows us to open a bag and still return unused portions to the freezer. We will definitely order more of these in future and recommend them to others.

Tried these for the first time today and couldn't be more pleased with them. I have some of the FoodSaver zipper bags similar to these and they're good, but I do think these are better. These do not have the vacuum circle on the front of the bag as the FoodSave bags, instead they have a zipper on the top and the bottom is open so you just seal the bag bottom after you've put in the food, just as you would if it was an ordinary vacuum bag I find that easier to do than using the handheld extractor that has to be used on the FoodSaver zipper bags.

As an avid vacuum-sealer, I was in need of a pint size bag and these piqued my interest. Wow, what a versatile little bag! Already re-ordered a second package and will be getting more soon. Just a few of the things I've used them for thus far: homemade snack packs for hubby's work lunchbox, craft items and mementos, freezing fresh herbs from an overabundant garden, sealing that half a cucumber left from making tonight's salad, waterproof vitamin and pill packs for all-day fishing trips, and mini reusable NON-LEAKING ice packs (I cut an old washcloth that had a hole in it in half, wet it, squeezed out excess water, sealed it in the bag and froze it). I am totally in love with these puppies.
