I had bought a new food saver machine and was unhappy with the price for the refills. I searched amazon and found more alternative options than I expected. I researched for hours (cause that’s what I do lol) and decided to buy this one based off of reviews and value. I received the package early and immediately installed one roll into the food saver. I had read some reviews stating that it wouldn’t fit. I had not problem at all. I started with okra that I had recently cut out of my garden and it sealed with no problem. The plastic is very thick and sturdy. I then tried it on beef and poultry that I bought on sale. Worked perfectly. Months later when I pulled some okra and hamburger meat out of the freezer it looked as fresh as when I first sealed it in these bags. No freezer burn, held the seal nicely. Will only be buying these bags in the future.

I package bulk foods for distribution at our church twice-monthly food bank. Because we distribute to about 80 families, it requires a lot of food storage packaging for perishable and frozen items. I have used the manufacturer's brand as well and a couple of other brands and have found this product to be the very best: fits in the Foodsaver sealer; no wrinkles so it seals the first time; thick enough to handle jagged edges; and very cost effective. I'll be back!! This is a second purchase for us. We miscalculated and ran short of packaging material, but the one-day delivery by Amazon Prime "saved our bacon"....in more ways than one!!

If you like using your Food Save machine to stock up on meats and such for your freezer, you can't have enough vacuum bags. After a recent shopping trip where a LOT of meat was purchased, we ran out of the freezer bags for our Food Saver machine. Found these vacuum bags on Amazon and ordered the 11"x25' package of 40 rolls. We discovered that the smaller sized vacuum rolls aren't worth our time or effort. Buy extra rolls because you can never have enough bags when you need them! Highly recommend this product!!!
