The bags are very well made. They even have tear notches! Finding pint-sized bags blew my mind (yes, it doesn't take much more than that), as those are an ideal size for individual portions. I sealed 92 bags of individual knishes shipped from NYC (a major investment needing protection from freezer burn) the day after they arrived, and every single bag sealed perfectly. No wrinkled bags in the bunch. The resealable overpack is very nice for storage. Don't hesitate on these! Your sealing will be so much faster, not having to measure and cut and seal.

I'm so glad I found these as they are the perfect size for two!! We love to cook and hate to toss leftovers. It's hard to cook for two, and some things are just not good reheated. However, reheating via the sous vide method retains the "just cooked" flavor and makes those leftovers taste "just cooked." When we cook a Boston butt, we package leftover BBQ pork in the pint bags, which yields 2 sandwiches, or pot roast, etc... Before, we were using quart bags and always had too much. This size bag is perfect for 2 chicken breasts or 4 chicken tenderloins, etc. We buy bulk and then freeze them in portion-controlled sizes. Plus, if you freeze flat, you can stack like a deck of cards. There are so many recipes I have that call for 2 cups of this or that, and the pint bags are perfect for 2 cup portions, i.e., cooked chicken, pecans, squash, even things like grits and cornmeal. I LOVE these bags!!!
