These bags are the highest quality, they seem to be stronger than the OEM FoodSaver bags. Being on a fixed income, we like to buy in quantity and repack things to keep for a long time and the price of these bags makes that possible. The quart size bags hold perfectly 2.5 pounds of dried beans or 4 cups of rice. According to my research by vacuum packing these dry goods they should be usable for 5+ years. The quart bags are a work horse, they also hold perfectly about 1.5 pounds of ground beef or a couple of nice steaks. Very well worth the purchase price.

I haven't had a single bag lose a seal, which has happened regularly with my package of Foodsaver brand bags. I use an older model of Foodsaver, so I think my issue could be related to the sealing strip on the machine. But, it hasn't been an issue since switching to these bags. I use these to seal large steaks (Costco cut, usually NY), various other meats, and random brewing ingredients. I find the quart size to be a good all around size for pre-cut bags, and even split them in half from time to time for smaller things. I'd definitely recommend these bags.

This actually is a reorder. We were very satisfied with the vacuum sealer bags and had no problem ordering a second set. The quart size works for the seafood and meats that we freeze. We find that the freshness of the product is greatly improved. We have used other brands but these seem heavier and seal very well. Definitely a product to trust.
