Purchased for use with sous vide. Meat goes on sale, buy large quantities, season/vac pack with these. The material is nice and thick and has not ripped once. These 100' rolls include a straight cutter that hangs on the outside of the box - perfect for easy bag making. As of the date of this review (Jan 2020), pulled some chicken and steaks from the freezer from Oct 2019. The bag was perfectly in-tact and the meats cooked just fine in the sous vide. I tell all my other friends who also use sous vide to get these bags; to heck with what the brand names charge!

These are surprisingly thick and seem to be very good quality plastic. We just finished packaging a couple hundred pounds of venison so I can't speak to their longevity just yet but I can't see any reason why they'd disappoint. Bought both the 8" and 11" size. The 11" are a great size for roasts or 5 lb packs of ground meat, but really the 8" do just fine for pretty much everything else.

I like that this is not flimsy and lightweight. It is equal to a famous name brand in quality. I couldn’t get the zip cutter to stay attached to the box as directed, but that can easily be remedied by cutting off what you want with scissors. I personally just rolled off some onto an old roll that I had saved from another brand, and had no problems fitting it into my food saver machine to seal it. It vacuum seals around whatever you are vacuum sealing for storage. Does not puncture easily which is another added plus for this product. I will definitely buy it again for the price and amount on roll.
